If your enneagram test shows that you’re a 7w8, it means that your dominant type is a seven and you have a few traits from the eight wing.
Sevens are social butterflies and love excitement, whereas an eight can’t resist a good challenge. When you combine the two enneagram types, you end up with someone who is both enthusiastic and determined.
Due to the determined nature of the eight wing, a 7w8 is much more worked oriented than other 7s and the other nine personality types.

7w8s can have issues with commitments and keeping promises due to the fact that they fear missing out on things. A 7w8 may have a prior commitment that they’ll abandon if something more exciting comes up.
Enneagram 7w8s feel the most motivated when they’re the center of attention or experiencing new things. They’ll be the most stressed when they don’t limit spending time alone. 7w8s are unhappy when they feel restrained or controlled, exerting energy in too many directions without focus.
The enneagram 7w8 personality tend to prefer direct communication. Be clear with your intentions whether it be in a meeting or over email. Always leave room for dialogue as 7w8s like to have their thoughts and ideas heard.
A seven wing eight will work best in an environment that isn’t too routine. They like variety and adventure, so they’ll need a job that can live up to those expectations. As long as a 7w8 is given these freedoms, they’ll be satisfied.
